Mac Lipstick Collection and Swatches

I have a confession...I purchased my first Mac lipstick in 2013! What might be even more surprising is that I really didn't wear lipstick up until last year, with the exception of a soft/natural pink. I was always a lipgloss girl until one day I saw a girl wearing bright purple lipstick and I thought to myself "I wonder if I could pull that off." It would so pretty on her, but I was certain it would look ridiculous on me. I headed to the drugstore and bought a few bright shades. Much to my surprise I really liked them (my husband not so much)! I continued to experiment with different colors and brands and gradually an addiction was born! 

I now realize that bold lipstick is all about confidence! Trust me and try it! 

Of all the brands, I love Mac lipsticks! I know that a lot of the shades below are "cult favorites" and you have probably seen them or own them. However I get a lot of questions about my collection so I wanted to share. 


Top to bottom: snob, please me, pink nouveau, saint germain, chatterbox, snapdragon (LE), girl about town, up the amp (my absolute fav), heavenly hybrid (LE), rebel

    I just purchased my first bright red lipstick the other day, and still have not had the guts to wear it! I will just have to try it like you say. Whats the worse that can happen right!
